Every year, groups of volunteers from across North America come together to make miracles happen for kids. The entirely volunteer-run programs donate the proceeds they raise to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in their communities and to charities that help sick and injured children globally. Models for Miracles is growing and reaching more lives each year! At its core, Models for Miracles is about mentoring, leadership development, and growing future givers. It is about providing opportunities for individuals to be engaged and connected to an event that is all about helping sick and injured children. Volunteers spend time organizing the event, recruiting models, and raising money for sick and injured children. All that work culminates in a fashion show event that not only includes anyone who wants to model but also provides education and raises awareness about the services provided by CMN Hospitals (and international charities that help sick and injured children) to the participants and audience members. Models for Miracles started in Wichita, KS in 2009 and is an opportunity for individuals to (1) engage in leadership opportunities, (2) serve their community, and (3) raise money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (in North America) and sick and injured kids globally. The premise behind Models for Miracles is simple. Create a fun, exciting fashion show where anyone who wants to model can—regardless of size, experience, age, or exceptionality. Models each sells tickets to the show and are provided with an outfit or two from participating boutiques to model in the show. Models for Miracles is about empowerment, service, leadership, and helping others in our community. We believe in the power of paying it forward and serving as Miracle Makers in the lives of sick and injured children. We are so excited to announce that BodyTrends BoutiQue in Oklahoma City (www.BodyTrendsSpa.com) is a national presenting sponsor for all of our shows this year! Thank you BodyTrends!
